Nestled in a peaceful setting outside Nashville, Tennessee, our private farm offers a unique blend of nature and meaningful connection. We offer unique and private visits with our goats and donkeys. Whether you're bonding with our goats, spending time with our rescue donkeys, every visit is designed to encourage, heal, and inspire.
Come as you are, stay for a while and feel free to leave it all in the PASTure.
Who We Are
Hidden Door Farm is a nonporfit 501(c)(3) ministry that is the culmination of many years of thoughtful planning on how to introduce "non talk" help to those suffering from various forms of trauma. I am well aware of the need for alternative therapeutic experiences as I have personally experienced multiple types of trauma. I come from a lineage of systemic child abuse, I suffered a life changing water ski accident in my 20's and I experienced over 30 years as a first responder family in a fast paced Fire Dept that dealt multiple traumatic events to us a Family and to our Fire Family.
The opportunity arose in late 2022 to start building Hidden Door Farm and its ministry. After finding this beautiful piece of land and being mentored by the lovely Shelley Fehrenbacher of Fallen Oak Farms, we are slowly but surely building a program that allows you to interact with our beautiful dwarf goats and/or our rescue donkeys for a helpful healing experience..
What We Do
We have so many long term goals, but for this moment the simplest way I can describe us and what we do is this motto, written for me by a family friend...

Why Donkeys and Goats?
The gentle and social nature of both donkeys and goats help make them wonderful interactive animals. Donkeys are known for their calm demeanor and emotional sensitivity. Our goats, with their curious and playful personalities are known to reduce stress and anxiety. Their approachable size and friendly behavior make them ideal for beneficial interactions.
