Nester is a 13yr old Standard Irish Donkey. A few months after being here we discovered he had cancer. After a pretty major surgery he is now Cancer free. His favorite things are people, treats and his bonded mate Nelda.

Nester is very empathic, If he knows I'm upset, this giant donkey literally wraps himself around me. He's the best medicine EVER!

 When I first got Nelda, she was incredibly shy and wouldn’t let anyone touch her. That all changed one day when an equine massage therapist worked with her. The session transformed her entire personality.

Nelda is a farm favorite, including a friend from California who comes out specifically to work with her.

Currently we have our goats headed to farms in South Carolina and another right here in Middle, TN.

We have carefully chosen and handled  our goats so that they look forward to and enjoy human interaction.  We handle our new babies as much as possible so they are ready to go on to new farms and provide the same experiences we have here at The Hidden Door Farm.
