Hope Rising

For reasons I will share at a later date, this book “Hope Rising” by Kim Meeder was suggested to me. Kim operates Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Central Oregon.

If you are following me, you need to get this book. If you are a reader, even if you are not a reader, this book is an EASY yet beautiful read. Your young people. They need to read this book.

It’s avail on Amazon, ThriftBooks and Kindle. If it does not change your life in even the smallest of ways I would be shocked. And when it speaks to you, I would LOVE to hear about it.

At the very end of the book in which she sums up all of the “vignettes” in the book, Kim refers to Hebrews 12:1-2

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish.

She writes this, “the real tragedy would be to stop in the middle of the race. A momentary inspection of wounds is one thing, but to give up in the middle of life is another. For those who will simply commit to running the race, putting one foot in front of the other, no matter how big or small the step- for those, in the end , the victory will come . Because God is faithful”
